A legal‑only ceremony is a simple yet deeply meaningful moment. It is a quiet exchange shared between two people, with two witnesses and the Celebrant present, where you can become legally married without the formality of a traditional wedding.
This moment can unfold in the comfort of your own home or in a place that holds special meaning for you both — somewhere peaceful, familiar, or sacred to your story.
I am here to guide you through this moment with ease and care, creating a calm, supportive space where your legal vows feel genuine, heartfelt, and beautifully true to the two of you.

Based on the Bellarine Peninsula, and servicing Geelong, the Surf Coast and the Otways, I hold space for couples who value clarity, presence, and meaning. These ceremonies are focused solely on the legal act of marriage, while still honouring the significance of the commitment you are making.

Legal‑Only Marriage Package — $400 AUD
A legal‑only marriage ceremony includes only what is required under Australian marriage law.
What is included:
These ceremonies are private and minimal.
There are no guests, no personalised ceremony elements, and no rehearsals — just a clear, lawful and grounded moment where you are declared married.

First Meeting
We’ll meet either online or in person to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and go through the legal requirements for marriage in Australia.
This meeting is practical and straightforward, with space to ask questions and ensure everything is clear. Once the NOIM has been filled out, I can legally marry you one month later or more.
The Ceremony
On the day, I’ll arrive early to complete the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage with you and your witnesses.
I will then conduct a short ceremony using the legally required wording, delivered with calm presence and care.
You will leave legally married.
Registration
I will lodge all documentation with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages and notify you once your marriage has been officially registered.

Official registered marriage certificate

Within Australia — $100

(This is the government-issued certificate often required for name changes, passports or visa purposes.)
